Paint help with Taupes/Greiges
Comments (4)I think it looks beau~t~ful now!!! I can't really tell the undertones in the pictures. I will look at the colors when I don't have to cook dinner. Not that I will be of much help but I have looked at a lot of grays lately....See MoreWhat is your favorite neutral, warm but light paint color!?
Comments (21)@pink-peony, so pretty, are you doing the whole house with agreeable gray? I looked at that color a while back to re-paint the master, before the remodel started, why I thought it was a good idea to try and do a little project on my own leading up to a big one I don't know why (and by my own, I mean my husband would paint because the last time I did was a decade ago and it ended in tears). Any thoughts from folks about how to deal with the fireplace and walls in living room, I'm keeping it simple-no mantle, we have a gas insert with a decorative brushed nickel surround and an iron black trim....See MorePaint Help please!!! Looking for warm neutral.
Comments (66)Kautry, There is a Sherwin Williams Crisp Linen my friend used on the walls in her house. I just looked it up and there is also a Benjamin Moore Crisp Linen by the same name. We would love pictures. https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/color-overview/find-your-color/color/csp-305/crisp-linen?color=CSP-305...See Morehelp choosing a greige(ish) paint color?

I don't know that you can find a color that is nicer with your furniture and bedding than what is currently on the walls. If your intent on painting it something almost the same but just a bit darker why don't you go into SW and ask them to make you two samples, one of City Loft at 10% darker and one of City Loft at 25% darker? Take them home, paint some sample sheets and see which one you like better. If your not afraid of math you could get City Loft and City Loft at 25% darker and mix your own samples using a syringe to measure out the color until you got the perfect color. You can then alter the formula to fit or just take your sample back and have them do a computer color match. Always test the match by taking the sample and the matched color outside in direct sunlight and comparing the two....See Moretedbixby
