Help me decide on my MOHAIR chair!
Comments (24)kellyeng, I don't know how you do that, but it is very cool! and helpful! I like the darker green on the bottom, but unfortunately none of the samples looks like that particular color IRL. And... I have SO much of that color throughout my first floor. It would be a no-brainer but then it would also be, like, just another chair. But the Sapphire would be more of a standout. IRL the Sapphire seems just a little more vibrant than what's shown in your pic, which is just what I'd want in a blue. As I look around my first floor, too, I notice that I do have that particular blue in several pieces of artwork. My next goal will be to maybe find a pillow for the sofa that has the blue as well as my other colors. I have plenty of time -- I think the chair takes 12 weeks to come in! Decision accomplished. Sapphire! Thanks, everyone!...See MoreI'm considering replacing the DR fixture. Would you help me decide?
Comments (11)linelle - I looked into that. The website says it uses 5 - 40 watt bulbs, which happens to be exactly what I have in my current fixture. I probably get more light from the open glass shades on the current fixture, but I generally have the lighting dimmed, so it should be okay.......I think. :) No way to really know until it's installed, I guess....See More8 inch or 10 inch columns on our wrap around porch?! I like the smaller posts - they work, they are not wasteful, and din't block the views. They also allow you to double up the 2 on either side of the front door. I like the simple, square, plain, unadorned columns and they look nice on the rendering....See MoreHELP! Help me design a post / column at the beam!
Comments (4)My inclination would be to trim out the doorway opening the way you want it first. You might well decide that a pass thru window would only need to be "finished" with drywall....See Morenickel_kg
