Please help me choose a wall color for my home office!
Comments (15)kristinamaria and teacats, you are on the same wavelength. I think I will do that... find the fabric first. And teacats, I absolutely LOVE THAT FABRIC. Seriously, I LOVE it!! I am going to go back to that site in a minute and see about a sample. Thanks for linking that. I luv my GW friends. :o) You all are so helpful. Each person has something to share that I had not thought of/had not realized. Thanks for sharing all of your advice. I'm going to find the fabric and see if I can get my green in the fabric, and then I think I'll go with whatever blue the "experts" have put in the fabric. I'm just not the best with paint colors. Thanks! ;o) mrsrose, I am headed out the door in a few minutes, but will post a few kitchen shots on here later today for you to see. Thanks for the compliments from you and lindybarts too. ;o)...See MoreHelp me please with wall color selection
Comments (1)I love colors like Healing Aloe BM for a good combo between woods and just enough color for contrast with white trim It is a very neutral color for sure....See MoreNeed help please! Updating wall color for fresh look with travertine
Comments (4)Debbie. we did go ahead with Panda White. Although my color specialist suggested walls, trim, shelves, and cabinets all be painted in the same color/different sheen, we painted trim and doors Sherwin Williams Pure White in semigloss...and glad we did. Next project is kitchen cabinets and I’m not sure to do Panda, SW alabaster or Ben Moore white dove. We need to choose the best quartz counter first..that will relate to travertine floor says my designer. Then pick a cabinet paint. Here are some pictures. I‘m waiting on some new furniture.....after many, many years and new drapes. 😊. i think my Color designer is definitely right in saying that new paint can’t do all the heavy lifting. That is where decorating helps it all come together. Because travertine has a pink undertone...hard to tell sometimes...paint with a green undertone will only exaggerate this difference. That may be why you don’t like Carrington Beige. Look up the designer, Carla Aston. She has a great blog on how to update your space with travertine. Lots of good ideas and pictures from other commenters. Good luck!...See MoreFresh eyes/help with my fireplace tile selection
Comments (2)The tiles look at bit blah; consider doing a marble mosaic. A beautiful Calacatta herringbone or basketweave would look classic go better with your design....See Morechayce2021
