I told myself I wasn't going to, but...
Comments (7)This is confusing to me -- "TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR SPECIAL OFFER TO ADD TWO FREE ROSES OF YOUR CHOICE. Simply place an order for six or more roses from this list and we will add 2 free roses selected by Gregg for your area to your order." How can something be YOUR CHOICE and also SELECTED BY GREGG? Does Gregg know what I don't already have? I suppose that if I ordered 6 climbers, he might suspect I wouldn't want a rose that grew under 6' tall, but if someone is going to pick something for me, it would be nice if they sent an email to me previous to shipping if "x" and "y" would be wanted, or would I prefer "z", "a", "b", or "c" instead? Sorry to be so nit-picky, I can't afford to order anything anyway this year, and have to be content with what is on the half/priced, half/dead rack at Lowes because I have a gift card from there that isn't all used up yet. And my little experience with bands has been less than satisfactory....See MoreI said I wasn't going to!
Comments (7)kcclark, Thanks for the suggestion about keeping leaves in the fridge. Actually, I have a huge selection of milkweed within 10 steps of my back or front door. I can get fresh leaves from outside nearly as quickly as I could from the fridge. I raised around 50 cats last year at multiple different ages. All the ones I have now are within a few days of one another, so it should be even simpler. In fact, they might be just about ready to eclose for the first week or so of school. I can send them to school with my kids. Martha...See MoreWasn't going to go out and take pictures, today.
Comments (8)China Bride is a beauty. I like the fact that it looks so good even going on noon in the heat. Impressive. I also like the form on All Fired Up. Nicely done. My Pandora's Box has burst into bloom now. What a display it makes. Too bad the rains are spoiling the effect.....Maryl...See MoreGoodbye, old friend. (I wasn't going to cry ...)
Comments (44)Reminds me of the neighborhood my Keebler Cottage was in. I love well cared for homes from that vintage. I drove by my former home several years again and was devastated to see that the exterior at least was not being maintained. I was literally sick and just cringed any time I thought about it. The garage (which had an attached in-law/quarters/studio) looked like you could blow it over. Drove by earlier this year and the current owner had torn down the garage and made some changes, but it looked loved. I hope they maintained the character on the interior. Butternut, you have a lot of work both done and undone on the new home, but you are going to make it your own. Just stay true to what you love and it will happen....See Morebpath
