Comments (47)Hi again, Thanks so much for the measurements! I think we can work something like that in our smaller bedroom and still have enough floor for his bed.... I will have to measure tomorrow when I don't risk making noise near the bedrooms (our sons sleep with their door open). He still wants to sleep with his brother, but they have made a few comments about having their own rooms soon. We can relocate the computer and set up the room as originally intended for him. Thanks again!...See Morehello. what wallpaper should I put ?
Comments (50)Oh, I missed this update when you posted it. What a stunning result you have. But of course your house was perfect long before the wallpaper. Your style is incredibly elegant and modern....See MoreAfter 8 months I still want new counters. What would you put in here?
Comments (25)OP: good suggestions to google/houzz/pinterest your cab color and see what others have done to start to narrow down your likes. Truly, the only was you will find what you love is: take a door off and go to the stone yard and hold it up and see what you think. we can suggest all we want, but when you go to the stone yard and look at Taj, as an example, t might not work since the color variations are all not exactly the same. you have a 'warm' kitchen, you need a 'warm' counter. anything that reads mostly gray, more than likely, will be cool and will not work. as others have suggested: pick your counter first, then B/S. and only one should be the star. also, are you keeping the 4" b/s? if so, normally, you do not need a tile b/s. i do agree with you, i would not love that granite. you can re-use in a powder room, make table/end tables/ outdoor side table etc to reuse it....See MoreShould I put art on this wall in my bedroom?
Comments (16)Thank you partim. It took me forever to get the furniture how I wanted that was functional and didn't look awful. Like I wanted to see the tv from the desk and bed, and I wanted my phone and laptop cords to reach both as well so I wouldn't have to have two sets. It was just a bunch of little things. Those are great ideas and the pictures look great. The little black table is a foldup and doesn't stay there, I just occasionally use it for extra desk space when I need it. It actually goes in the closet when not in use. I can't really hang the shadow boxes so that's why they are on top of the dressers for now. Maybe one day I'll get to hang them. As for moving the dressers and swapping out some of the art, that's something I'll definitely have to consider. I'm not sure if the dressers will fit there if I move the TV over because the drawers may not have clearance to open but I might try. The TV doesn't get hit by the door, I was worried at first it would but it's a closet and I don't swing it open fast and it would hit the stand first before the TV if I did....See MoreAlecia Mickelsen
