As an update, I ended up ordering the ruffled ivory euroshams from eBay. I also decided I prefer to keep the duvet at the bottom of my bed so most of the pillow options I was considering don't look so well next to the ivory coverlet. Once the shams come in, then I will revisit if I want to add an accent pillow or not. I still like the butterfly pillow the best, though it's no longer available, so may just wait until I find that just right pillow. Meanwhile, I am thinking of replacing the gold sheers with ivory colored ones which should tie in nicely with the ivory euroshams. Thanks for all of the feedback!

Tinam61 - when you say using down and a larger insert makes such a difference in how the pillow looks, what exactly do you mean? When I think of down pillows, I think of squishy pillows not holding their shape, but maybe it would be different if the insert were a bigger size than the cover. I've only ordered inserts from Pottery Barn. Is there a better place to get them? The lady on the etsy site is going to mail me a sample of the fabric, so I think that will really help to see it in person.

jaybird - my old friend! (well not OLD, but a friend from the old days!) Did you see the first doggie bathroom? I needed some projects this past winter/late spring, and the powder room one started when a friend gave me some beautiful Spode hunting dog plates for Christmas. See it HERE. Talk about dog themed... :-) And the plates that started it all - And then he sent this picture - And I found this - so there will be more curtains made for it someday! And the curtains in there now were inspired by this pic he sent. It's so nice to have a long distance design helper!
