Need help with my exterior upgrade dilemmas--roof, siding, trim

Lisa Moreno

Hi Houzz community. I am getting a new roof, and choosing the right roof colors begs a plan for the house exterior. My house is a 1963 ranch with half yellow brick, half siding and red brick accents. The house came with all the red trim, porch, gutters and fence. All the red (trim, shutters, porch, post, fence) and the light grey roof have to go! My vinyl windows are a mix of almond and white on each window. I can plan for window upgrades but not this year. I'm thinking Owens Corning Driftwood roof, a color like Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze for trim, gutters that either match trim or contrast in copper, find a siding color to match the yellow brick. Paint porch floor in a grey, add natural wood tongue and groove to porch ceiling and copper accents somewhere.

Questions I invite help with:

1) Will this color plan work? If not, I'm open to other opinions.

2) Which color for the gutters (contrast w copper or match trim)?

3) Is there any other idea I should consider for the siding (it is wood siding, if it matters)?

4) What the heck to do I do with the red brick accents? Right now I'm ignoring them...
