A week ago I agonised over which wall color to pick for painting our house with natural oak floor.
Houzz is such a helpful resource for advice, but I found very few pictures with this color.
So I wanted to share the results here, it may be helpful for someone else.
I was looking for an equivalent of BM Classic Gray (both colors looked very similar in samples) or some warm greige off white.
SW Pearly White is nothing like Classic Gray in my opinion. It’s a chameleon color that looks very different in different lighting and with different flooring.

Comments (13)Jan Moyer, as I'm scrolling through various threads on cellular shades, I've seen several comments from you, basically making people feel bad for considering cellular shades. The reality is that many folks PREFER cellular shades for a number of reasons. I personally cannot WAIT to ditch the wooden Roman shades over the kitchen window of my new home, as well as the wood blinds in the office space, replacing both with top down bottom up shades. I also don't like heavy drapery, have no use for sheers, and have some windows where shades are simply the best choice. It's great that you come here to help people, but maybe just answering their question without the implied judgement would be better received. Comments (9)Here's some pictures. @mxk3 z5b_MII know the white isn't the msot amazing choice with these tiles but I'm trying to think of something that would brighten up a small kitchen and be appealing to a future buyer. (This is a 2 story house and I will need a 1 story at some point in the future). Also thank you @ktj459 for your thoughts as I indeed worried that the simply white might look yellow even though the warm looked better w/ floor tile. I had thought about getting new floor tile since were renovating the kitchen but it extends into my whole family room, aroudn fireplace, bathroom, laundry area and the thought of how much bother and disruption, that would be just seems a tad overwhelming to think about. I have one friend that absoltuetly hates my tile and told me I need to change it and another that doesn't mind it so much. Also thank you @Patricia Colwell I will keep the lighting suggestion in mind. Too bad they don't do lighting first so you can pick out all the other colors of your kichen afterwards.
