Attn MIDWEST Realtors: Exterior Colors Attracting Younger Buyers?

My neighborhood tends to be a second home where younger people move to start and raise a family. Not a starter home neighborhood, but not where people buy once they've hit the career jackpot, though it's pleasant enough that many people stay even after they've hit their financial stride. All that to say, as we near total empty nest, we're picking our siding and roof updates with a younger buyer in mind, planning to list in a year or two. I know farmhouse is big right now, but I'm already over the white house w/black trim thing, and I have red brick on the lower level that we're not going to paint (one of us is for, the other against). So the question for realtors: Do your younger buyers tend to be "meh" about a beige home (James Hardie Cobblestone) and opt for a more dramatic, contrasting look (like Hardie Deep Ocean)? Are you seeing a trend in their preferences? Thanks in advance for your insights.
