Thanks for sharing. That will be really helpful. I get frustrated when I have scrolled through pages of irrelevant info only to finally get to the recipe and realize I can't make it because I don't have all the ingredients.

Yeah I hate all that too and always jump to the recipe!

Years ago I suppose the young ones blogging were just connecting with fellow bloggers/young mothers at home. Then monetized and got greedy. So many recipes are fails. Some recipes parroted from elsewhere....

Ugh, the pop-ups and the stories. The endless photographs. They need content and followers...soo commercial now.

I tested two recipes I am more than familiar with. One did not work. The other gave an incomplete recipe but provided a link to the original, zipping directly to the recipe without a scroll and search. So it does work. And does not ask for e-mail addresses.

FOAS, I know I posted on the KT, but I posted here first. I prefer to do individual postings on the sites instead of linking both KT and Cooking.

I prefer separate postings. I don't usually respond to cross posts. (unless I miss the header). KT and 'cooking' are very different.

Jasdip, this is a great idea. I do usually like to scroll through fast and see if there's anything interesting before the full recipe at the bottom, but if you have a slow connection, that could be torture. BTW, most recipe apps will also pull in the uncluttered recipe if you have the URL. The problem is that they look for the numbered steps and don't pick up notes and comments. I haven't played with yours yet. I hope it does that part better.
