I used this image as a holiday card one year with this haiku:

A time to reflect

Compassion stirs gratitude

Love's whispers bring joy

Every Mother's Day DH gives me 3 roses - for our 3 children.

Grateful for brave soldiers

jrb, no one is allowed to look as lovely as your wife does, waking up from surgery! Her goodness shines.

Thanks Annie. My wife would kill me if she knew I posted this picture but it’s the first thing I thought of when I saw the topic.

She’s beautiful.

We watch sunset everyday . Reflecting on our day for all our blessings. Thankful if they are large or small. It’s a time for us to talk together about our day.

hallngarden, your sunset pictures are beautiful. Do you ever see a green flash?

I’ve only seen one once on a cruise.

I've seen the green flash twice, both times in an airplane as the sun was setting...it's quite striking.

Grateful for the rescue

Grateful for those that survived 2020.

Grateful for this family of mine...without them there would be no reason

for living.

roxsol and Annie, you have seen something I have never seen. Very rare here. All these years and never saw the green flash. Just found this picture. See many colors.

I am grateful for family and friends and neighbors, my home and ability to just live life everyday.

happy to be loved

Grateful to have these two in my life!

I have much gratitude for the doctors, medical intervention/advances that have made it possible for this man to still be with me. In 1983 it all started with his heart. At that time, I didn't think I would have him to grow old with. He also gets credit for keeping himself alive by doing as much as possible to keep on keeping on.
