Comments (34)@lynnNM - I have all sorts of art and artefacts on my walls, and I treasure them all. Most aren't worth much in money terms, but they are priceless when it comes to memories. I think one of the things that bothers me about a lot of design and decor these days is that objects are picked for how they fit in with the "theme" rather than for any personal meaning they might have....See More
6 years agolast modified: 6 years agoWe love all the birds that come to the feeders. Well, maybe except for this one. It is probably responsible for the absence of our usual breakfast entertainment today. Guess he has to eat too.
6 years agoI thought I had a nuthatch but I think it was the tufted titmouse that I have. It's not a very good picture so I went with this rose-breasted grosbeak. It only has come once that I know of so I am so happy that I got a picture of him.
I know like many of you, I get such joy from having a feeder outside my window and getting to see all these beautiful visitors, including the hawks.

The killer hawk. It ate all the baby birds in our bird house. It tried to get a tiny dog last week. Thank goodness we saw what was happening. We saved the dog and called the owners. They had no idea what happened.
