Comments (22)we have not attached it yet--- we need to look at the bed frame to see if its able to attach -otherwise we will get the appropriate frame- DH does not want to attach to wall-- its pretty sturdy even though its not attached.... HTN-- i hear you about transitional-- i kind of felt like i was liking that style but yes the rest of our house is traditional-- i'm keeping the headboard- so i'll see what else i come up with... I also think the bed needs an ivory throw blanket and a nice bench (thats lighter by the foot of the bed)... to be continued...See MoreVery small master bedroom. How to make it more appealing?
Comments (40)Thank you Courtney that 2nd pic especially looks comparable to our size issue but solves the problem very nicely. I think getting those sconces replaced with more interesting light fixtures and moving them further apart is going to make the biggest difference. For now, I like the idea of adding a colorful throw or more interesting pillows. Someone else mentioned about storage and suggested a storage bench at the foot of the bed. We have an adjacent office/library and a large closet so no need for either storage or a sitting area in this room. So that helps!...See MoreI find our living room awkward. Comments (20)I think I would also move the TV to the 9'3" wall as Barnes Custom Builders suggested. I would then move your couch to the 5'11" wall (pulling it away from the wall so the vent can function). Then, I would flank the chunky chair to the left side of the couch. I would purchase a TV credenza and mount TV above. I would then fill the previous TV location with a credenza with a lamp and a mirror. I would also get a single large piece of artwork for the 11'9" wall. I would get rid of the bent wood chair as you suggested. Here's an option for a rug, credenza, media console, lamp and mirror... Comments (104)Another option I don’t see in photos is to place the dresser on the same wall as the bed but on the left side. Dresser can act as a bedside table of sorts and will balance small table and closet door, which carries a lot of visual weight if it stays white, on the right side of the bed. Like the idea of painting door and trim same blue as wall... Like the chair best in corner by the window away from the bed. Also like dresser on wall opposite bed with chair in the corner by the window. A simple vase with flowers in it or ceramic pot with greenery would set the dress off nicely. Thanks for posting pictures for us to see! Great progress...See Moretangerinedoor
