Please help - Best location in our living room for TV?
Comments (2)Does your TV have to be in the living room? I don't know your layout, but since that's the room that opens to the kitchen, what if you made it your dining room, with your china cabinet on one short wall and your sideboard on the other, and turned your dining room into a den and TV room? Would your way of living work with such an arrangement?...See MoreI need advice how to place furniture, wall picture in our living room?
Comments (20)To groveraxle: When I said.." there is no other place for piano.." I mean that in our apartment, we don't have any other place to move piano ( den or bedrooms). Only place it is living room. And yes, I will definitely move piano to the other wall, next to the book shelf. See, I have more plans to update the room. I want pain wall some different color, want to strip popcorn ceiling, the bookshelf I want to re make it with more lighter material and not as deep as present and may be add glass doors. Also not sure about carper on the floor, should change it to wood floor? It all project for later but I want to see whole picture for the room and I find it really hard Thanks again for helping =)...See MoreLiving Room TV Layout/Set up HELP! (not creative)
Comments (4)Hi All - Apoligies will post more pictures later today. The sofa is temporarily there, its the kitchen so its semi openlan. The x marks the spot where we would like the TV on a swivel bracket. Opposite will be a corner sofa. A guess more pictures will make it easier to understand. The white door leads to a small cloakroom bathroom....See MoreI took my time, now I need to hurry up. Living room freak out…help!
Comments (41)Ask for the scotch guard treatment on all upholstered pieces. Regarding the ottoman -matching is more work than its worth instead go for an accent color and pull that color into the pillows or lap blankets, art , etc so it looks like part of the plan. Have fun with it You may even find accent chairs that go with the ottoman. Chairs & big men- the story of my life. The thing about men is the are very honest about their seating preferences -if it ain’t comfortable, they ain’t hanging around! I live in N. Alabama so forgive my southern. Look for chairs that are rated for “300 lb capacity”. They will hold up better, last longer and will be more comfortable for everyone and hopefully be really comfortable for you and baby. Regarding baby- get yourself a good upholstered recliner - even if you never thought the words Lazboy would be in your vocabulary or in your house, i slept many a night with a sick baby on my chest and the recline was my and my husbands saving grace....See MoreRelated Professionals
