I am expecting delivery of a Flexsteel sectional tomorrow. The furniture store I bought it from has a 90 day return policy. After reading all these negative reviews, I'm glad I have a window for return if it is unacceptable. The sad part is that nearly every brand of furniture carries with it heaps of negative reviews. (Only found one brand that had good reviews, but they don't make a sectional that is right for my challenging room.) Same was true when I checked reviews for kitchen cabinet manufacturers. Talk about negative! If I avoid every brand of anything because of negative reviews, I will never be able to make a purchase! Quite frustrating. Gone are the days when you parted with a little more money for a quality product and knew for certain it would be good. I've concluded that we now have an array of choices that range from bad junk to better junk. I just hope I get the better junk.

We love our new sofa. I hated to part with my old Ethan Allen sofa, but now I am thrilled. We just bought the Vail Sofa with a chaise on one end. I highly recommend the upgraded cushions. They sit nice and firm. I am very particular about sofas. I don't like to sink down low into them. This sofa gets daily use so I wanted it to hold up and be comfortable. I paid close to $2500 for the combination that I got. You get what you pay for. The back cushions are attached. The back is high enough to rest your head while sitting. The back cushions are plush and cradle you when you lay back. The fabric is super soft to the touch.

Lattitude is made in a plant owned and suprevised by Flexsteel in China and Palliser is made in Mexico and Canada. They both have plywood frames. You might ask questions about the mechanisms. Ask about the cushions of each. Examine the tailoring of each and available upholstery and then you can make an informed decision.

First, a comment on buying a sofa and loveseat; it can be difficult to find a coffee table which services both. Can you use two love seats or two sofas? Just be aware. There are other fabrics which can make you and puppy comfortable. My favorite is Kashmira and you can find it on Flexsteel furniture. First, I have had Flexsteel. It will still be in your living room 20 years from now. Kashmira? It’s my dream come true. Looks like leather or suede (depending on your like)…amazing feel and comes in lots of colors. I’m offering you something other than leather because I don’t think your red chair will show up well if you buy new leather pieces.
