So many colors I love, but especially blues and especially cobalt blue.

Green is the color of money - thus my favorite color. I can recall from many years ago the question, "How's your fern?"

Cold storage area dug into side of a hill during the 1800's. They used to haul big chunks of ice down from the mountains where snow hadn't yet melted to keep meat and other foods chilled during the summer months.

"Elmer, the reason they get so much snow and bad weather there is because of all the moist air coming off the ocean....." That's what I said and tried to be brief. I've spent my life in the state immediately to the south, where through the 700+ miles from there to the Mexican border, all areas are affected by that very same phenomenon on a much greater scale. Rain and snow on the west facing sides, deserts to the east of mountains in the lee. I actually had a class in university on the subject, The Geography and Regions of California. Weather variations are significant and are a prominent factor that influences differences from one part to another. . Didn't you see Fun2BHere's photo a few days ago with the palm trees in Newport Beach in the foreground and snow on the mountains in the not too distant background?

It’s all in the eyes of the beholder I guess. When I think of green, I think of the beauty in nature. Even here in the city
Hard for me to pick a favorite color though. I love them all.

Oh how weird. It did show up.

Now I'll try the photo that I wanted for this thread - nope - it still won't let me add that photo so here's a substitute. Blue's my favorite color.
