Wallpaper whole powder room or one wall?
Comments (14)I have the same size powder room. I could definitely see papering all the walls. There's that long blank wall across from the door where you'll need to hang picture/s and that will break up the pattern....See Morewall color to go with this type of wallpaper for powder room
Comments (6)Maureen this was so helpful! Just seeing the two rooms you posted I’m definitely gravitating more toward the first one accented with white. We want to replace the current tiles as well (they’re a darker beige color right now) but are waiting until we’ve done the wallpaper and the paint. I’m new at home decorating (this is our first home) and I know there are so many shades of white out there...I get confused when I even step into the paint aisle. Is there a certain shade of white that would work well with this or does it not matter?...See MoreHow to wallpaper powder room with bulkhead?
Comments (12)Thank you all who have responded! I'm on my lunch break right now, so Ill try to answer some questions real quick. I haven't picked a wallpaper yet, but here are just a few I like The ceilings are 9ft tall with under the bulkhead coming in at 7'11". We are a military family and will most likely be leaving this home in 2021 so my husband will most likely veto any structural changes. The bulkhead area is behind the toilet and sink area, so unless I only wallpaper under the bulkhead on that wall then no accent wall. I'm not opposed to just painting a dark rich color something like one of these more pics of powder room Toilet and sink on same wall. Thanks to all...See Morewallpaper powder room
Comments (26)Complicated wall paper patterns have the potential to visually shrink a small space even smaller. Could you add a high horizontal "chair rail" on the wall above the countertop / sink level and wallpaper only that back wall behind and above the sink and toilet with the mirror covering part of the wall over the sink and open shelves over the toilet. See how you like that before doing the other two walls. If you do only above the "chair rail", you get the pattern you like added without having the design over power your small room. You could pick a color from within the wallpaper for the rest of the wall. You might even consider a vertical "wainscoting" or paneling for below the "chair rail". You might even consider a faux window on one wall. Lighter colors -- white door and trim -- and pastel walls are going to give off a more open vibe than darker colors. https://www.houzz.com/photos/wallpaper-powder-room-ideas-phbr1-bp~t_713~a_3406-20866...See MorePDHipi
