Vouch for your Brother / Sisters trade?
Comments (4)Hi Growdan, You might want to add your state abbreviation to your garden zone box. See I am zone 5/6 S IN. Some members, myself included will not respond to or maybe even read Plant Trade posts where the location is not shown. It is postage cost, (as cost varies greatly with distance), days in transit, temperatures, etc that are all taken into consideration. I see you have found a lot of the other forums, but you may want to check out the Florida Forum too. hth. Sue...See Moreone more pillow for my chair. please :)
Comments (28)I sew pillows for a living - this is how to get the tapered corners and eliminate the "dog ear" pillows; Cut your square pillow as you normally would in whatever size you want. Measure from the corner tip along each side and mark the 1" mark and 2" mark with chalk or pins. Take a straight ruler (is there any other kind??) and draw a line from the two inch mark on one side to the 1" mark on the other side. Do the same with the other markings on the opposite side. You should now have a "x" just below the corner tip. This is your new sewing ling and your "dog ears" will disappear! I hope this helps!...See MoreMy Pillow???
Comments (22)maggie200, I like that idea! I have a flat pillow (less than 1" tall when you spread it out and pat it down) but I have had that pillow since I was born and I use it to cover my head at night. I wash it often. It is tired from being almost 50 years old and the little balls of rolled feathers come out the corners, I just stitch them back up. I wondered about the buckwheat ones, won't they sound "crunchy"? If that isn't a viable option, I will go for your feather pillows....See MoreWhy doesn't this pillow combination look good on my bed?
Comments (19)Good suggestions here. I do like the color though! It doesn't look like mud. :) I do think you need more color contrast. The gray pillow looks too similar in color to the comforter. It's like you tried to match and it didn't work. Either try removing it, or replacing with something that ties into the rest of the room. I'm guessing the right color is not gold here, but something more related to rest of the room or perhaps white with some of the same dark colors in it. The floral pillows in front don't do anything for me personally but if you like them, keep them....See More- 5 years agolast modified: 5 years ago
