We bought an adjustable bed about this time last year. We were buying a new mattress and ended up buying both. I do like ours and we have our same headboard with it. You can actually use a footboard with it also. The only thing I don't like is how the frame looks, but I love a bedskirt, so that is not a problem for us. Ours does have vibration too, but I think that's pretty common. You don't have to use it. There's a bit of a learning curve - at first we had trouble with the mattress sliding from side to side a bit. I bought one of those pads (reminds you of what goes under a rug) that helps the mattress "grip" the frame better - problem solved!

We recently bought one, and I like it and use it more than I thought I would. I sleep with my head slightly elevated and like to raise my legs when reading in bed (sometimes we even watch a show in bed now because it’s so comfortable). It really alleviates my back pain. We bought ours from Sleep Number along with a new mattress (another thing I wasn’t sure I would like, but I love it), and there are very strong magnets between the two which keep the mattress in place so we haven’t had an issue with movement. We can adjust ours from our iPad or phone and set a timer so we don’t have to wake out of a sleepy state to reset it down, which is a nice feature. There’s also a faint light that comes on under the bed when you get out, which is nice if you ever need to get up at night (you can turn this feature off if you don’t like it). I can’t speak to how the base will work with a bed frame. We are planning to get an upholstered bed but haven’t been able to get out to look at them because of Covid, and I’m hesitant to buy one sight unseen, even if I can get fabric samples, in case it won’t fit correctly (I’m not really sure what I need to look for, and some posters in the bedroom forum have had issues with fit/height). Sleep Number sells headboard and full beds, and I’m tempted to just go for it because I know they will work together, but the colors are limited and they’re fairly pricey. Hope that’s helpful!

My sister has hip and back issues and she loves hers. I think hers was tempur pedic? I cant remember.

humble, I forgot about the light. We have our turned off. We also have outlets to charge our cell phones somewhere on the base, but don't use those either. Very interesting about the magnets!!

Another question I just thought of. Can you leave it up so that your legs are elevated all night or would that be uncomfortable.

I’m a side sleeper so haven’t tried that, but if you’re a back sleeper, or otherwise find it comfortable, I don’t see why not. I do sleep with my head slightly elevated all night. It took a few nights to find the elevation that worked best for me. Once I found it, I set it as a favorite.

I started a thread about my purchase not too long ago. I'll see if I can find it and link it here. Every night when I get into bed and turn the setting to zero gravity, which raises the head and bends the knees a bit, elevating the feet, I think "OMG, I LOVE this bed! Sometimes I sleep with it like that, or even turn in my sleep because I'm a side sleeper and keep my legs elevated a bit. Other times I just put up the head for reading and lower it some to sleep. Mine has a massage feature which is more like a vibration, but in the zero gravity position, I can kind of feel some massaging.

I bought mine at Costco because of their great return policy. I was worried about it fitting inside my bed frame (headboard, footboard and solid side boards, but it works fine. The sideboards hide the legs.

I won't buy memory foam because of all the off gassing and toxins. Costco had a true latex foam option and it's really, really great.

I am in Canada and I looked at Costco. Cannot find yours, they do seem to have a lot of memory foam. Thanks for the help but I think I will have to do more research.

Love ours! I call it a quality of life investment. Best house purchase ever. I also use the zero gravity position.

Love mine, It is a twin ex long. I got it when I moved 8 months ago. I checked a lot of stores for reviews and prices. Got mine from Walmart and the foam mattress that they bundled with the frame. It was a bit hard ( for me) so I also got ( from Home Depot) a 3 in mattress topper.

@Tina Marie where did you get your grip pad that you put between the mattress and the base? We haven’t slept in ours yet (long story having to do with painters, tardy handyman, and defective mattress), but I want to be ready when we do!

BB - it was from Amazon - Gorilla Grip. That was recommended but I can't remember if that was here or if I googled or what.
