Design Dilemma Windows Exterior

WHITE VINYL TO BLACK VINYL WINDOWS!

House is in Massachusetts, 100 years old, currently has white vinyl replacement windows & always keeping original decorative windows. My question is:
Can we apply anything durable to the “exterior” of the “white” vinyl windows to make them “black”? I have some white vinyl windows that are only 10 years old in great condition...rest are 20-30+ years old in OK condition but will buy BLACK vinyl replacement windows for those old windows. BUT the 8 10 year old white vinyl windows want to keep...
QUESTION:
Anything we can wrap the newer white exterior frames of our white vinyl windows to keep them and make them BLACK on exterior?
We were thinking BLACK DUCT TAPE OR BLACK GORILLA TAPE? Lol are we on right track?!

Nothing effective that they can be wrapped with. People will tell you they can be painted but I a leery of painting vinyl windows, especially going to black.

Duct tape will be tacky, and will not hold up. Painting your Vinyl windows will void your warranty. Just painting the frames and not the sash will be much easier. I would look into a product like Sherwin-Williams vinyl safe paint but have seen it done with cheap spray paint. prep will be key and spraying it will look best. https://azekexteriors.com/docs/installation/azek_trim_moulding_installguide.pdf

As you'll note from other pros commenting here, Andersen Silverline windows aren't a good product, and having a black exterior is only going to amplify their problems. Good vinyl solutions are either the Okna 800 or Vytex Potomac. Someone else mentioned Marvin Integrity. I'd suggest looking at their ALL Ultrex line. It's an all fiberglass window that will be available in your color schemes. Just remember, all of these solutions will cost more than Andersen Silverline, but it will be less costly than buying Silverline and then buying better windows down the road.

Thanks everyone! Husband was at the house today during a thunderstorm - the only leak/water issue in the entire house was the master bedroom French doors, which were actually leaking at the bottom left edge of the frame. This is after tile demo, so perhaps the tile had been holding that water back from actually leaking onto the floor inside, but I bet it was still getting into the frame to some degree. We had already noted what looked like wear or water damage at the bottom of that door, so now we’ve confirmed the issue, and I’m convinced we do need to replace them. I think the safe bet would be to get wood or composite doors that can be painted - that way if it looks weird one way or the other we could always switch. I’ve also heard that French doors are considered more premium. But currently the house is a mishmash of styles, and we’re trying to take everything in a clean, bright, midcentury modern-inspired direction. It seems like sliding glass doors would be a better fit? Full lite French doors would be an improvement over these bulky 12 lite ones, but still not as much light as sliding ones, and I’m not sure they’d read MCM.

Thanks, Celery! I was just working on that. Here is it is SW double latte. I'm wanting more cohesion, though. It just seems like two separate top/bottom houses with the light/dark and not getting tied together. Does that make sense? The only thing I can think of is painting the window trim in the darker color...but that just looks so dated. Soooo tricky, it seems.

I’d skip the stacked stone. I personally like the white better. But ive seen gray with black. It works. If that’s the look your after. Also depends on the shade of gray. I like darker better.

Put me in the camp with the other two posters. While I know you can paint vinyl, that combination of an older product with a paint color range that takes a beating...I am not sure you are setting yourself up for success.

I think white is more appropriate to the style of your house. I would remove the shutters, which just don't work.

Duct tape isn't waterproof but there is some kind of boat repair tape that is but I don't know but comes in collars and I think black or Gray windows would look good on the place but I would keep the porch ralling white

Excuse my crazy phone I said boat repair tape but what the other person said about Sherman Williams sounds good check that out

Honestly can you spell TACKY no to any kind of tape and I agee unless you are palnning black windows not vinyl I would forget the whole black window idea Lose the shutters replace the window st aht are in need with the same as you have and get to work on some nice landscaping.
