Ordering Brugs online
Comments (27)Hey Guys, (and girls) Thanks for the posts, i placed my Yarrow plant outside today, still in it's pot, since it needed sunlight. Anyway, i decided to check out the roots of my datura cutting today by gently lifting the plants (more like twigs) out of the soil. two of the three had brown roots and was pretty much dead, except for one, which has a very tiny white root coming out of the bottom. I'm not keeping my fingers crossed though, since im 99.9% sure it will die like the others. Anyway gents, keep the posts coming. I'll check back tommorow -Pete, 18 The Brugmansia N00b...See MoreFloof! Amazon order.......
Comments (64)I couldn't remember the last thing/time I ordered. Had to go look! Eight months ago! I would have guessed that it was some of the supplements that I take but, it was rubber snakes (to try to scare the squirrels out of my fruit trees - didn't work) and replacement filters for a vacuum. I intend to buy a swivel stand for my TV soon - it has been in my cart for months. I did just buy a used handbag and a battery/charger unit for an old Shark vacuum from eBay - the first purchases there in a long time, also. The handbag was a bit of a disappointment - smaller than the posted measurements, so smaller than I really wanted (and I wanted a smallish one). The difference was the seller measured the width at the zipper top of the bag, not at the base, which would be the more accurate for usable space....See MoreFestive Floof! Comments (17)A fog machine would be really neat! They are motion activated when someone enters. Do you seasonally decorate your home too? Hmm what about a Polar Express type scene? The portions could be windows in a train car? I don't think we've seen Easter or Valentines from our office! Nice smelling seasonal candles on a candle warmer instead of an open flame might works....See MoreRepeat Floof! Amazon AGAIN!
Comments (74)joyful, I remember when televisions were called "television sets" because they actually did have a set of tubes in them. Then, it was shortened to "sets". Those old TVs lasted for decades! And, they were repairable. Now the technology has changed and my TV is almost out dated despite it being only a very few years old. Refrigerators were much the same, as you said. Vacuums were repaired. For some unknown reason vacuums and sewing machines came into the same repair shops. Even Sears used to sell the vacuums and sewing machines in the same department. I used to sell them. I never saw any relationship between the two except for the fact that both of these things were largely used by women. Think that has anything to do with it? I have stepped aside from much of that consuming and have simply opted out from owning things that I can do without. That includes a toaster, microwave and automatic coffee maker. I just got tired of replacing and throwing away all the time. To put in a microwave in my kitchen would have required too much remaking of the kitchen space since it was built when microwaves were still sitting on little carts in the kitchen. I just said "no". I don't miss it one little bit, at all. My first microwave lasted for over 12 years. It was an Amana and I think that I am correct in remembering that it was made in the US. I think it was called a "radar range". Things began to change right about that time....early 80s....See More
