Help! Incorrect rough-in: bathroom medicine cabinet

Hi,

This is my first post here, but I’m hoping you all can help.

I recently remodeled a bathroom, and the the medicine cabinets were back ordered, so we gave the crew the rough-in measurements from CB2. They ended up making them an inch wider, so when we got the units in, we had gaps around the edges. not happy.

Short of redoing the whole wall, are there any solutions to masking or filling that gap? I’m not a pro, but I’m envisioning some sort of wider schluter. The gap between the mirror and the wall (depth wise) is really tight in spots. Of course we could reset the cabinets too.

Any ideas? Help!

Thanks you!!
