When Good Plots Grow Bad
Comments (15)Awww...geez. imho, Nurse Kim's Mom moved way too fast. My Mum and I had this chat when my Dad died. I told her that she should stay in their home as long as she liked - I'd make the commute, nag cousins, pay people, to keep the house up. Four and a half years later, she came to live with me, under her own steam, all the way. The people who bought the house, she called them old people, lol, Mum was 81, I said how old are they??!! had sold their home and moved into an apartment. They hated it. They were in their late 80's. Nell, you need to make a pact like this, with children, or someone who will be your executor, a living will. You don't need to be able to do the actual work - be able to point and articulate. That's it. I truly hope that Nurse Kim's Mom does not regret her decision. In some cases, the social aspects of of the care facilities may be a plus for someone who is lonely. Comments (2)OK Christine Now we know what is important. More about the plants, then about Hubby or his big beautiful truck. Les P.S Then there was the time my wife came home to find a police car in the front flower bed -- thank goodness nothing was planted in it at the moment....See MoreWhen Good Crafts Go Bad
Comments (10):-) Well, I may end up having another crafting disaster to share soon-- we shall see. I'm planning to see if it's possible to spray varnish Marshmallow Peeps to preserve for a centerpiece display. This could be very, very cute... or very, very melty. I don't know enough about Peep physics to be able to predict the results on this one. The Peeps are currently drying out in a bowl on my dining table. I suspect they know something is up. They look suspicious. :-) --Jenn http://web.mac.com/thriftshopromantic/iWeb/...See Morewhen good outlets go bad...
Comments (1)The cover is made of a self-extinguishing material that burns only if high heat is applied to it. The overheated contact may be the cause of the "cracked cover". Since we did not examine the damaged parts, we cannot say what was the probable cause of the problem. But do try to remember that odor. Most electrical problems that create odors will smell similarly. Others have posted about mysterious odors and wonder if they are electrical in origin....See MoreBunny
