Yes, white would look great against the black trim at your roofline and pop against the wood, too. The door isn't really mid-century; maybe replace it? Agree on replacing front door. It is Craftsman style not mid-century modern. Something like this one. I would choose a medium to deep gray on body of your home. It would look great with black trim and your pretty wood features.

You could do lower level deep gray and upper level camel/cedar wood color. I think white will make it look more contemporary where color gives it the mid century look. So up to you.

What about white on lower and gray on upper.

Or reverse. Which look do you prefer. We can go from there.

I’m not a pro but the brick might look good in whatever color the bottom is if you do 2. And unfortunately, that’s a Craftsman door. I’m sure you could sell it on Craig’s list to someone who desperately needs that look. It seems in good shape.

I would figure out coloring first. Probably paint brick color for that whole area.

Biggest challenge I think is your creamy? Windows. Are they paintable? If so, I would paint them your black trim color. That looks so great on homes like yours.

Thanks everyone. Trying to see if we can paint the beige window trim for sure. Yeah, I don’t know how this house ended up with a craftsman door. So odd:-). Selling on Craiglist is a great idea. I’m definitely tempted to paint or cover the brick, since the brick doesn’t look like the nice mid century stuff I have seen.

Is the first picture your only brick? Surely would paint that. Is that white trim wood. That gets black for sure.

I tried gray on bottom and white on top. Don’t like it. You don’t have enough surface on top to do two colors IMO. So I did all Kendall Gray with black trim. Put MCM bright door, since your door is set back, you need a bright color door with glass so light streams through especially at night. I would add house number plaque to front fence. One like this.

I put black trim stripe across chimney to keep the linear look going too.

With the fencing, I think I I would leave brick alone.
