I love wallpaper in bathrooms but not this wallpaper. I say remove it. Most people have no imagination. So the wallpaper may just make them not see that is actually a nice bathroom. Sometimes removing it is a pain, sometimes it comes down easy. But people think it's hard so don't want to tackle it. Do it for them and paint it something that goes with the permanent fixtures of the room. If it is a vinyl as most bathroom, the top will come down in one piece. Then just spray with water to saturate the paper that's left over and remove. It will take time It needs to be wet. Beyond that remove the valance and your jewelry hooks. it will look so much better and appeal to more people. Since the glass is frosted you can remove the shutters or leave them for added privacy. They would be something a new owner could easily remove.

IMO dark green would be my last choice of paint color in that space.Sorry I need to know what you want this space to be like when done. Those cabinets are screaming dated and way too dark. IMO if you want some green in the space do thecabinets a nice pale green and the walls a warm white BTW hanging wall paper does not work well on painted panelling and there is IMO no place for wallpaper in this space. Are you changing flooring ? I think we need a lot more info BTW all the lighting needs to be changed to LEDs 4000K before choosing anything .IMO you needed to have adesigner from the beginning and is that a TV on the staircase wall? IMO the whole point of idea books is to give a glimpse into your style and not one of yours is anything like what you are planning. BTW painted stone is never a good look and that FP is the best part of the space .

Was your house built in the 1940's or thereabouts? I'd spend the money on a better light and mirror, toilet holder, floor register. The last 2 may seem unimportant but these elements are registered in the periphery and help to enhance the overall feel of a bathroom. At least to me. Some suggestions if cost is an issue-- Main Bathroom: -If this is a main bathroom and makeup is applied in here, I would keep the walls white/cream to avoid casting weird colors on skin. No matter what color skin is involved. -Install a simple woven wooden/bamboo blind for the texture and feel that only wood can offer. -Get some inexpensive wooden frames and find old horticultural or birding books, tear out a page and place in the frame. Instant art. Mount on the wall above the toilet, wrap the framed montage over onto the wall by the window. - Work on finding a nice light and mirror. -You can also mount a wall hook to hold a plant or two, or suspend a glass terrarium above the tub, high enough that no one hits their head climbing out of the tub. Guest Bath: -Go crazy with wall color. I painted my guest bath Poseidon by Behr, couldn't be happier. I would lean toward blue or green. Blue and white are classic for bathrooms. I had a lovely light Aqua color in the guest bath for 15 years but I just needed a change. Paint is the least expensive way to update a space. -Same suggestions as above This is my guest bathroom.
