What's the proportion of brick to siding? If there wasn't much siding I would suggest black. Are the black shutters a definite?

I would want a color that blended with the brick more. Like a medium toned taupe-gray color? If that is the color I am seeing in your brick? I wouldn't do any color that would contrast, but use one that blends in with the brick. Taupe looks really good with black windows.

Vinyl starts about halfway up, so it would be a big commitment. our window guy is the one who suggested changing the colour. he was leaning towards a grey tone, but I just dont see it.

What color is the roof? Agree your current color looks good with the brick and would work very nicely with black windows. However, a light gray would also work.

Do you have to replace the siding? I think what you have looks good. It just needs to be washed. I would stay with white windows, since your trim is white.

I would go with a taupe window, current siding looks fine with your brick.

I agree. Power wash it and keep it if it indeed is as in good shape as it looks.

The garage door seems to be about the same color as the siding. I would go a few shades

darker to blend with the brick, then maybe a lighter color for the front door for a change.

I wouldn't touch the siding if it's in good shape. The color works well with the house.

If you are open to suggestions, rather than put the $$ into the siding, I would do something with the deck instead. The posts look insubstantial for the deck above so beefing them up would be a possibility, and you might consider changing the railing too.

Incorporating the posts into the landscaping more could also work...I planted vines on mine to make them less prominent.
