With what you have done so far, I would get a wood look door for both the front and the garages. I would leave the windows white.

I like your all white look but love white with black windows. Then do wood rockers or chairs on front porch. Black glossy front door. Garage doors leave white. House will appear bigger. If getting new garage doors get long squared wondows.

If you do go for wood garage doors, you need to repeat same wood two more times on front of house to make it cohesive. I don’t like brown on Gar doors. But I do like these doors white but with details in the style of doors. And with a double and single Gar door better to go white.

PS. If you must have basketball hoop in front yard move to other side to help remove from your vision of home.

Here is rough mock up. I tried getting the look of windows on garage door but so tiny. Hopefully you get the idea. I put white brick mailbox with white fence sections to repeat white. Just ideas. I even moved the hoop! Well more like tried to delete it.

Oh I beefed up porch columns too. I see now I missed one but you can see more substantial posts look better. 😃. Enjoy!

I think I would paint trim around garage doors black too. Plus, I painted front door glossy black. Really adds personality I think.

Maybe they should also remove the dog from the front yard as well.

This will further help to eliminate any signs of life from the home!

I really like Flo’s suggestions. Classic, traditional, casual and modern all at the same tIme.

Only use real wood if you live in Southern CA. Any where else in the country you have to deal with weather that isn't kind to wood doors.

Here are two mock ups I did. Other two color options are white or black. Ugh so torn.

It is hard. It’s a big investment. The main design of your home is a mix of styles so personal choice. The wood garage doors and trims are a bit trendy and not cheap so prefer paint rather than the wood. But if using wood, cedar is best with good stain protection. It does require more maintenance. And using it on Gar doors and posts are help integrate them. A little split rail decorative fence on left side of yard would help balance the look. Nice mock ups!!

I would beef up exterior lighting in lantern style with woods.

I like it with the white garage doors so ones eyes goes to the front door And the rest of the house instead of the garage doors which seems to happen when they are highlighted in a color.

What would you say our style of house is? I have been trying to figure that out. We live on the lake so certainly don’t want farmhouse. It’s not modern. Not craftsman. But I am not an expert. What are your thoughts?

Your house is a combination soft contemporary (curved palladium window), and traditional with your roof lines. It isn't any one "style". If you are near water, I would not do wood anywhere. Even cedar. Keep it simple and let the property be the star. You will enhance the lines with black trim at the windows to help it lean a bit more modern. But if you want it more "country" go with wood and whites. It's just a personal choice.

Have you seen anyone with a timber tech or faux wood garage door? I’m painting our house dark and want the wood garage door for contrast. And we’re putting in a deck. So they’ve got to match. But I’ve never seen timber tech on. Garage door before.
