Is White Eden really white or is it actually light pink?
Comments (18)Yeah, my Eden gets a bit of BS, but nothing it doesn't shake off fine here. I have him in really good sun now, because that also helped with the re-bloom. Mine looks so pretty right now! Last year he didn't even bloom because he got zapped so short by the polar vortex. I was afraid he might be Dr Huey. But no :) He's better than ever! I have Red Eden, too, and we're definitely humid here. Mine doesn't really ball, exactly, but his petals may need help opening. The thing is, the petals stay fresh and pretty, but he can just take forever to open. My Cinderella Fairytale and Cl Clotilde Soupert both have some real balling right now, where the petals turn icky in the ball shape, but my Red Eden just needed a little loosening with my fingers and he looks great :) I do believe he really balls in lots of places, no doubt. But for me, the freshness of the petals makes a huge difference here. I do love globular roses, though. He's about as globular as it gets, and that's part of his problem for some folks, I think! Without help opening, he can tend to look like a bunch of Christmas ornaments :D...See MorePretty in Pink Eden in Houston!!!
Comments (24)Yes but I have this new stinking iPhone and have to take it in to get my pics pushed over bc I had to set up a whole new iCloud account bc mine became locked so I can't push my pics over myself. I'm so upset!! We moved here 7 mo ago and I've been through 3 iPhones ( this my 4th!!) and I lost ALL my before and after pics of all the landscaping I've done it's very heartbreaking!!!!!!! I'm super sad over it bc we have 3 acres and there was NOTHING here !! I've done a lot of work but no more before n after pics. I'm heartbroken!! I'm a little give me a day or 2 to go to Verizon n I'll post pics I tried messaging them to my new phone but it won't send :( bc my old phone, even tho it's on, I guess isn't activated anymore?? Stinks! Well I'm a little confused bc the rose in the pics above looks like boscobel but I don't remember mine having the ruffled petals or the golden stamens but I honestly could b wrong!! Boscobel is also known for its beautiful mix of color. It should have some peachy- yellow- light orange tones in its blooms which I also don't see in the pick. I do kno tho that with some of my austins, the blooms can vary some, on the same bush...See MoreEden climbing rose blooming question
Comments (53)Flowers, Thank you for telling me more about your Eden-she is the queen if Edens to me w/ her abundant blooms! Ben, Your Eden is the King of Edens!!!!) Just can’t believe it’s tall climbibg beauty! Oh, My, WOW! Flowers, Your Eden sounds soectacular!!!! I think Eden us the best! It’s blooms, each one, have the most beautiful shape & pircelain colored light punk, and she’s so vigorous! Yous blooming all the time is nagical-I can’t wait to see if mine will bloom that much….. I think the more sun, more watering, fertile conditions would bring her out to be her best after 4 years hoping. However, Heirloom Rises said their Eden now has huge almost tree sized HUGE trunks- canes are soooooo wide. I see my Eden’s canes thickening -but don’t want big tree sized trunks!!! Lol! I think I’ll let her griw around tge side of my baywidiw to reach 12 feet or so to get max blooms! My Eden on other side of bay window is just starting to fill out, but littkexshaded….. may move vegetation aroundcto give her more sun so she can thrive....See MoreEden..The Low Down Dirty Details..Post Here!
Comments (62)The place where I put my PIPE is now in deep shade due to a tree that grew over that area so it hasn't done anything lately. It did put out a few long canes trying to get out to more sun lol. I need to move it, I meant to last spring but got busy with other things. I will probably place it in front of the bananas that are behind my veggie garden where its sunny and can sprawl on the fenceline. I am on 4 acres but most is shaded from huge trees, so it can be challenging finding sunny spots for my roses. Sorry I can't be of more help on the repeat. When I first planted it and it got more sun, it repeated pretty good, once established. The flowers are similar to Edens but darker pink and can sometimes put out a light pink or half light pink/half dark pink (bicolored) bloom. I know Edmunds carries it bareroot....See Morekatyajini
