Where did you find WHITE EDEN? HMF doesn't list anyone in the US carrying it. Looks like it's white with a pale pink center. I'd love to have one myself.

Since White Eden is a sport of Eden, and is supposed to be white, I would think that some of those pinker photos could be reversions back to regular Eden. A lot of times sports will do that.

As per the comments on Dave's Garden, the pinkish tone on White Eden comes with cooler weather. Please see comments and photographs on this link: White Eden on Dave's Garden. Did you know there is a dark pink Eden climber? Since it is a sport, it is closely related to Eden and shares much of her character. I think it would look beautiful with Eden. bethnorcal9 - We found it at Portland Nursery in Portland, OR where we had purchased Red Eden. They also had Pretty in Pink Eden. We may try it as well. Just got Laguna which is a similar color -- so it all depends on what it does. . .and what the reviews are for PIPE this next season.

Cjrosaphile, do you have any problems with rust with your Eden? I saw Eden at the Huntington Gardens in CA and it took my breath away. I am hesitant to get it for my own garden, because of reports of rust and thrips. The one at the Huntington was doing so well, but they have better conditions than my garden. Still, I am tempted to try it, because it is so beautiful.

Beth - Roses Unlimited has it on their alphabetical list, so they do cycle it into their offerings. I haven't tried to order it yet, since I like the pink in regular Eden, but it's worth an email to Pat to see if it's available.

CJRosaphile - sorry, I'm no help on the color of White Eden, but part of the reason I'm not as interested in that version is that the pink in my Eden is pretty muted as you can see below (pardon the lack of deadheading) and I'm not convinced the White Eden would be much different. For instance, the bloom at the center far right is essentially white to my eye, and the overall effect is blush rather than pink for me.

No rust issues at all. The typical bs problems early in the rainy part of the season. Love, love, love Eden and wouldn't be without it.

Wow. Yours looks very different from ours. Yours looks lighter. If the White Eden is lighter, we will be happy with a variance I suppose. Have to admit that we just love our Eden, one of our favorites. Even though it has no fragrance!!! It's one of the only roses I tolerate that with (Okay, I also have Dublin Bay)

I have had white Eden for two yrs and it's def white but does have some light pink sometimes. None of mine have gotten as pink as the reg Eden. I absolutely love it. This is the first yr it's bloomed really good but like I said I've only had it two yrs. I have a post on the gallery forum with some pics of it.

I think the warmer it is the whiter it is but I love the blush pink color too

I didn't realize there is a white Eden. Now I want to collect all the Edens. They are all beautiful. Imagine your garden with all of them.

jjpeace - Just make sure that what you get is related to the original Eden (Pierre de Ronsard). Otherwise, it would be a crap shoot. Red Eden is not related and from what I read, balls even in humid weather. Wish that rose sellers were more truthful with their descriptions and photos. . .

Wow. That is just so beautiful... white or pinky-white. Thanks guys for the sources. Heirloom also carries it but it's out of stock. I see Roses Unlimited actually does have it listed as available under their climbers. I may just have to place an order! (not sure where it's gonna go tho... LOL)

Gorgeous picture prettypetals! You had to go and enable us all, didn't you? And Beth, you know that climbers grow upwards, so you only have to find a teeny tiny spot of ground near a support. C'mon - you're only up to 1200 roses, what's one more?

OOOHHHHH!!! SO pretty! Well, theres another one to add to my wishlist! Do either Eden or White Eden have any blackspot for anyone on the east coast? If not then this is a definite must have for me!
