Height of bathroom sconces...
Comments (16)hi there! I've read somewhere that the best height for a wall sconce is the one that allows most of the people living in the house to enjoy the lighting from their normal positions without suffering glare from an exposed source (the bulb). So you can decide if that 66" would be from the socket or what. As long as all your family members, regardless of stature, get adequate task light. Comments (8)hard to say without pics, but from your description I think I'd get a double fixture for the center and keep the single on the outside. Unless you opt for option 4, which only you can decide if the sacrifice is worth it. Here is one with the sconces on the outside only, which wasn't one of your options. Comments (117)In case Jenn gets notifications on this thread, I have a similar problem. I wanted to use sconces but think there is not enough room so I think we might need to use a bathroom bar. How is the lighting you are receiving from the lighting? Are the shadows impossible? Troubling? Minimal? Thanks...should you see this....See MoreBathroom sconce ... first impression.
Comments (32)Because your outlets where misplaced, you need to have something the puts the weight of the fixture down rather than up. It is the crux of the problem here. I would go with a basic oval mirror possibly frameless. You have a couple of issues, one the light placement and to the very decorative cabinet, you chose for the sink, its kind of dictates the style of the light, because the rest of the room is very modern you are now going to have blend the looks....See MorePeke
