My friends took theirs to Loch Ness and took a picture of it in the water. So fun!

Suwanee, love the title of your post! And yes, it's too early and winter isn't over with yet....BUT, I'm right there with the rest of you, just dying to plant stuff. I bought a couple of tiny tomato plants at Wally World today and potted them up into larger containers (why pay $4.00+ a for a gal. pot for the same 0.94 tomato in a smaller pot that'll be the same size in a few weeks). Plus, the pieces I cut off when re-potting will root easily so more tomato plants... I did plant about 3 flats of snap dragons today since I know they'll survive... I love the Winter-Sowing method, but I've been doing it for awhile and in the past have killed some nice size seedlings because of the type of weather were having right now. It's going to get cold again before it's all over..... Bmmalone, what is this "snow" you're talking about? Is that the white stuff that falls during winter in some states?

countrycottageklutz, this is what I have been learning... Seal the stone- do your best to keep it out of the grout lines, I have read that a paint pad works well, Bill told me in a recent question of mine: As for the grout sticking, believe me-- I wouldn't worry about it. Take a piece of tile, seal it, and let it sit for a day and dry. Then put a smear of grout on the face of it, and let THAT dry for a day. Then see if you can remove the grout. The sealer only slows down the bond. It doesn't stop it completely. ( http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/load/bath/msg011135464004.html ) Follow the directions for your sealer, make sure it works with your grout! Most of the tile folks will tell you that you don't need to seal the grout.... need vs. can... such a fine line :-) I am sure someone in the know will show up soon. thanks everyone. nope, i'm nothing special... just doing what i have to do, there are so many more that are going through so much more. I wore my bra to bed! LOL I don't think I EVER thought I'd be wearing an underwire to bed, but it helped! LOL Less sore everyday! Kathi.. i was taking chemo before Christmas, and the pet scan showed it wasn't doing the trick, so we decided to do a new drug, not too far off of clinical trials. I already had one infusion with the new stuff. I go 2 days in a row, every four weeks. my next one is scheduled next Wed. and thurs. the 3rd and 4th.

You guys are All AWESOME!! I am gonna make that list tonight. (dh has been bugging me to make a list) I stepped up the door painting today. I was able to work on 3 doors today. I was doing like 1 door at a time and there is a lot of waiting time between steps so it was taking forever. Doing 3 today I feel good about it! Sarschlos .. I'm using water based primer Kilz latex 123. I've already re hung several of the doors already and so far so good. Those doors were left out and about after they were painted for a good week before I put them back up there. I might be biting off more than I can chew. I *want* to paint the living room and entry but not sure I can get to it. If I can get some extra money .. then maybe I can hire someone to come in and do the painting of those rooms. I'm wierd.. I like to prep my own walls and paint so it will be the way I like it (roll eyes) I have a very good handyman I use though and he does drywall work to perfection. He is $20 an hour - which isn't bad at all. But with Christmas coming up .. any extra money needs to go for presents and stuff, so that is why I was just going to paint myself. See .. it's a circular argument LOL Okay.. well I will make a daily list for the cabinets and make it so that IF the cabinets are done then I can start on the living room laxsupermom: I know what you mean about indecisiveness. It can make you crazy. I can't decide what to do about a common wall between my living room and entry. I've been thinking about it for about a year LOL. good luck on choosing your countertops

Jasdip, cute but I see those for sell often for a lot less than 20.00. Walmart has them for 7-8.00 w/free shipping. In the states I know, but I can’t imagine Canada would be that much more expensive.

You gotta admit, it is cute! I was half tempted, but I do like my ladle even though it doesn't stand up, it measures exactly one cup. Amazon has it for $15. something but a lot of the reviews say they didn't receive the real thing. Received a knock-off instead. Buyer beware.

Some people bought it in several colors. One was the real thing the other two were not the same. Flimsy and didn't stand up according to the reviews.

I got one from wish a few yrs ago for $3. It's adorable, but the ladle is small. Still, it makes me smile, so I'm good with it.

I got a teal? one as a gift several years ago. It's my canning nessie. Very nice to have it sit upright and the handle out of the way between batches.

Hahahaa! I'm not willing to pay $20 for Nessie, that's for sure! I'll keep looking around here and see if it shows up!

There's a great 'Surplus" store that usually gets things in that are/were popular. I remember a few years ago someone on the CF mentioned a garlic press, it was canoe shaped, a rocker type thing and she said it was real slick. The latest thing. Not long later I saw it at the Surplus store for a couple of bucks.

Oh, I get that, and these have been out quite some time, so probably will show up there. If not, Wish.com has the whole family for $2.27 each. I don't know what the postage would be. They show just over a buck, but I don't know what it would be to Canada.
