They are pretty much always available here. They are my go-to potato.

I don't like russets at all. Most often they've turned black on me. Yellows are the only ones I buy. They're not necessarily branded as Yukon Gold anymore, but are always "yellow-fleshed" potatoes

Plenty of them here in SoCal, too, along with any other variety you might want.

Not sure ours are "yukon", but gold tasty taters. Found some sprouting antlers, so I think I'll try planting them.

Yeah, Yukons are very easy to find in SoCa, as Chloebud said, as well as other similar gold potatoes of anonymous variety.

They are here year round on the "wet" coast. Can always get Yukons, Russets and red potatoes.

Yes, they are nearly always available here too. However, I bought a bag of something called "Florida Gold" and they were, without exception, the best potatoes I've ever eaten. I baked them and just ate them with salt and pepper, didn't even need butter or sour cream or anything.

I went to the local Meijer yesterday and they had sweet potatoes, russets, Yukon Gold, red potatoes in about 3 sizes, mixed colors of fingerlings, some very small yellow potatoes, the Florida Gold potatoes, something called "Klondike Rose", which is red on the outside but gold on the inside. Lots of potatoes here...

Here in podunk Alabama even, we usually have an assortment of red, gold and regular potatoes. Sometimes even blues! The absolute best potatoes I've ever had were the little gold ones that came in my Misfits boxes. Not sure what variety they were, Yukon or something else.

Here in PA, they’re readily available in all the grocery stores.

We get “gold” potatoes in the boonies, but they aren’t labeled ”Yukon Gold.” They are always smallish, much smaller than the Yukon Golds I was accustomed to when I lived in the big city.
