Where can I find Windsor chair(s) that looks like this?
Comments (2)Laura, That's an English Style Windsor rather than American. Sort of a hybrid as most English ones are heavier and bulkier than yours. I specialize in Windsors and haven't seen one like that before. Might be difficult to find. Duane Collie...See MoreWhere can I find shades like the ones in this pic?
Comments (6)That looks like a holophane PGRL fixture, one of the commercial fixtures they have been making since the 1800's. They do make one that is small enough scaled for a residential application though, I believe 12-14 inches in diameter. If you just want a "ribbed glass" shade, which is generically referred to as "holophane" as well even if it's not made by them (because it was invented by them) you can find those on simpler fixtures too. Here is a link that might be useful: holophane pgrl...See MoreWhere can I find a product like this RH one: professors dbl chair
Comments (11)dee -- I emailed you, but I figured out who you meant. The other quotes I received for that sofa are around $2200+-.... that sounds much better. kmcg --- I have seen the chair in person, so I know exactly what you're talking about. It is SMALL. There is no way my husband would fit in the single chair.... The reason I considered the double chair is because we really need something small for in front of our bed. This chair is short enough, yet it would be wide enough for him to sit comfortably. I measured our space again today and I think 34" high is even too tall to look right.... I'm considering the Fulton sofa dee mentioned, but I'm still searching for some options closer to 30" height for the space.... I think the chairs/sofas in the following photo look decent since they aren't (much) taller than the bed... I'm open to other suggestions if anyone thinks differently. :)...See MoreMirror Mirror on the Wall, Why Can't I Find One I Like at All!
Comments (23)We're nearly twins, jerzee! My vanity was supposed to be a warm mid-brown and it turned out darker, more mahogany-looking than I'd planned. Counter is also Cararra. My walls are SW Antique White, sort of french vanilla, and floors are a mid gray tile. Initially I thought the walls were too warm for the grays and chrome, but I like gray and cream together and I'm leaving it all as is. I had stressed over matching or mixing the metals and, in the end, have mostly chrome except for a bit of satin nickel. Nobody notices or cares. I hope you like the original finish on the mirror. A lot depends on how it works in your space. I have plenty of natural light in my bathroom. If you decide to go more silver, I can share what I did, plus what I did at first and what you should avoid doing. :)...See Morekatinparadise
