That looks like a holophane PGRL fixture, one of the commercial fixtures they have been making since the 1800's. They do make one that is small enough scaled for a residential application though, I believe 12-14 inches in diameter.

If you just want a "ribbed glass" shade, which is generically referred to as "holophane" as well even if it's not made by them (because it was invented by them) you can find those on simpler fixtures too.

Window shades or the light shade?

I'm thinking Paucie means window shades, and I have no idea -- maybe custom made?

I do mean window shades. I can't tell for certain, but they look like a woven wood . . . but I've never seen the striping effect like that. I've found ones with the bound edges, but I'd really love to find this striped look.

I agree that they look like woven wood. Smith and Noble has some wovens that have a stripe effect in them.
