I doubt you will find a handle that matches. Do you have anyone who does woodworking/wood carving? Or replace all handles. (guess I watch Antique Road show too much)

It's beautiful. You really got a good deal. I googled "antique drawer handles" and got lots of sites. Maybe you can find one there or at least three similar ones. You are a lucky shopper!!!

Thanks! I was trying to look up grapevine handle, oakleaf handle, french country handle. Nothing.

I tried antique handle and I'm getting closer.....and it's a "cast metal drawer pull". So maybe that will get me further in my search....

Sometimes the old chests have just a know on the first drawer and then pulls on the others so if all else fails you might consider a couple of knobs.

Do you know the measurment from one hole to the other?

If they are metal, take off one of the other pulls and check the under side for a stamp. It might help you to narrow your search.

I went to the store, purchased little, 1/2" brass knobs...they look silly. So, we had wood knobs...when stained I think they wood look fine(see pic)...or this ONE brass ring we have...."IF" I had 2...those would look nice...

Try the woodworking forum. I needed to know the type of a handle once and had the answer in minutes--along with sites for old trunk/furniture hardware.

Just for fun I googled "french provencial nightstand". There are people selling painted versions of my little guy anywhere from $165 - $600!!!! WOW! I wish the previous owner had put the handle in the drawer when it fell off.....

My grandmother had furniture of the exact same design and with the same handles, except it was a dining room buffet! She had bought it at Marshall Fields in the 1950s. I inherited the set, but sold it at least 10 years ago. They do exist. . .but you'll have to keep looking for awhile, I'm afraid. Do you have any good salvage stores near you? We have several great ones here in the Twin Cities: they'll put you on the search list.

marita40....1950's. Good info. There's a "restore it", used building items here, they didn't have it. I emailed Robinsons antiques...maybe they'll put me on their list.....?

In the mean time....I'll keep looking...but thanks to this thread and the idea of using 2 knobs....I was able to antique/blacken 2 little knobs and it should tide me over..:0) Here's what it looks like....now.
