jpmom - I love that file cabinet. The site states that a minimum of two items must be purchased though, and I didn't find a second piece. No tall shelving, as we have a closet with lots of shelving for storage in that room. Yes, the worktable needs to accommodate a chair, likely the same chair as the main desk I showed first. I don't think there will be adequate room for two chairs. We have two windows, connected to one another on one wall in that room, facing the front of the house. The room is carpeted with a monotone neutral, but frieze style carpet. I would love an area rug, but it may not be workable with the carpeting. It is a cold climate up here, and most people have carpet in their homes for warmth. Yes, I would consider an accent wall with wallpaper, however, the walls are somewhat textured. beverly - I have ordered, with good results, from Wayfair before, and I do like those pieces, especially the last desk. I will check that out, for sure. cmarlin - I love great Craigslist finds. I have scoured some, but just haven't found the right thing, I guess. Fun - What a great idea to hide away the printers, etc. We do have a closet in that room, which could work, although I don't think there is an outlet in there. Also, one of the printers (laser) is not wireless, but that could be changed, of course. Great idea. It's possible that could work. FinallyHome - Yes, Chic Coterie is the Hooker line, indeed. The entertainment center you showed first is beautiful. It is too long, though, for the space we have, unfortunately. I did the online search, and I see the items you listed. Thank you! I will look at their dimensions, etc., as well. mdln - I agree about the matching sets, the majority of the time. I really do like the first desk and file drawer I posted most. So if that can work, I would like to use it. Thanks, all. You gave me much to go on.

Oh, you guys are so awesome! Well, I made the trip after work tonight, and I bought all three chairs - the two off-white and the one robin's egg blue. All were thankfully still there. The store manager even went and checked today's shipment in the back, but there was not another blue one. They don't know what each shipment will bring. I put the chairs in the office, and I like the blue one best, as it just looks so much more special to me. But I do like the cream ones more than I expected. They are cute too. What I have done is place the two cream ones opposite my main desk, which clients/visitors can use, but I put the blue one near the window in the room, as a stand-alone accent. I kind of like that. I would keep all of the chairs then. What do you think about that? If I were able to find a second blue one, maybe I would return both cream ones, but as it is, I don't think I can part with the blue one, lol! I have one more question - I have a pair of matching pictures, which I wanted to place on the wall behind the pair of (now cream colored) chairs. The chairs are NOT centered on the wall, so that they can properly align with the opposite side of my desk. But, will it look funny having the two matching pictures on that wall, above two matching chairs? Any suggestions? Or should I stick with one large picture of some sort and place these other two pictures elsewhere in the room? lascatx - I will try the other stores - Marshall's and TJ Maxx too. I'm glad now that I bought it while I still keep my eyes peeled for another blue one. lisad82 - I asked about their shipments, and they said they get them every day. So, I think I will check back there frequently, unless I find a better way of knowing when one might come in. ellendi6161 - If I do find something better, I can return these within the 30 days for a refund or after that for in-store credit. So, I feel like I have the best of both worlds while I look around. justgotabme - I love your suggestion so much, I took it to heart, and I did just that! I have all three - brilliant! Thank you! I came home and told my hubby this was the way to go! It was his idea to keep all three as well, so you are on the same page. brdrl - Thank you! I think I called the West Allis store a few days ago, and they didn't have it, but who knows, they may get new shipments all the time too. If you do happen to notice one, please let me know. Put styles in top search box, such as casual, transitional, eclectic. Look at the ideas and note what you like and don't like. With the eclectic style, you need to unify the space as follows: (I have eclectic style all throughout my condo) use color, or texture all throughout the room to give it a unified look. Have an overall plan before you do anything. Get yourself a thin three hole binder with loose leaf paper, tabs, and plastic top loading sheet protectors. Categories will include: budget, ideas, styles, color themes, stores. White is fine, however, to prevent your space from looking like a hospital, you'll need to include a lot of natural elements such as wood, wicker, and plants. Don't be afraid to go big or go home!!! When I put white home office ideas in top search box, I get a lot of ideas. One thing you can do to increase storage is look for a tall unit for in between the doors. Neat freaks can use open storage, otherwise, get a closed unit with doors. Measure twice, buy once!!! Remember, unity, unity, unity! Make sure your end result is a unified space that flows well.
