Hi owbist, Thanks for your note. I must say I would have no idea how to make changes to the BIOS...and only a vague idea of even how to find it. :) This morning everything still seems normal. I was reading your message and did a search via the START button for "live update" to see if I could see what is different, if anything. My notebook when into sleep mode and when I pressed the button to wake it up, there was a window titled: ASUS Eee LiveUpdate. There are tabs at the side for Update, Event, History, Configuration, Setting, Help and About. I clicked on the History tab and there is one entry that has three headings....File Name, Version and Size File name: 1005HA BIOS Version: 0905 Size 389.3KB At the bottom it gives me the option of two buttons...Remove and Exit. When I clicked Update, it says "Update complete! There are no new updates. Last update 2009/12/8 So, maybe when I chose do the "Live Update" yesterday, it installed the LiveUpdate program and I'll get periodic reports? I have googled ASUS Eee 1005H + Live Update and find very little. So, whatever I did, it does seem to be all right at the moment and I will watch for any messages about fan speed, heat problems or anything else that looks odd. Many thanks again. Pam p.s. Nothing yet! We are still waiting for the insurance settlement to get things started. Our kitchen was ordered back in April and is expected to be delivered by June 9th. Our contractor is scheduled for the week of June 12th. But the reconstruction and repair of our walls, moldings, floors, etc, has not started yet and may force us to delay the kitchen install. We were told that the work may start this coming Monday which would be great, as that would keep us on schedule. I am trying to be hopeful. I now have everythingvelse picked out except the backsplash. My Kitchen floor will be grouted Alterna vinyl in Sistine White. The ajacent dining room floor will be Mirage Maple Sonora hardwood... and I already shared the Basset dining table which has been ordered. I just can't wait to get back home, especially to all my newly designed rooms!

Rachel - We are planning on using the same exact floor in our basement. I saw your picture of your entryway...can you tell me what color are your walls?

Thank you everyone so much for what you do with your plants. Rina, your plants looks so happy, I really adore those aeoniums & echeverias! I like the motto SOS! I need to do that during the next downsizing. I wouldn't want to move all my plants either unless of the most severe storms (tornado warnings). Margaret, your weather sounds very comfortable, and what a typical Spring would be like in New England. I'm not usually in the super hot weather for a long time as there is AC indoors. When I'm in the pool the heat is great, just trying to avoid sunburn. I guess my plants and I have a lot in common, lol. Crenda, your tricolors remind me of past problems that I am trying to avoid, so I too feel they do best away from high humidity. It's like years of growing them and a few days of humidity turns them ugly. Maybe this is why some folks choose not to grow them.... so darn fussy. Ewwmayo, agreed on that shade cloth, love having it....what percent are you using? Mine is 30% but is doubled at the moment, when I get a chance later I will make it one layer. Pagan, too funny, I hope the mesembs are happier under that tough love...seems like it :) Mike, what is this about sitting back and enjoying the plants?!? Ha... I was just thinking the other day I don't have a chair in the gazebo, it's full of plants! I keep meaning to grab a chair and I forget. I collected rain water last night and earlier today I watered the 200+ plants. Looking around I have A LOT of repotting at least 50 to a 100! I do worry of older mixes being compact or they simply outgrew their pot. I'm going out soon and will get more potting mix. I'm sure the gazebo blocks more light than the plants could take. Western sun facing the shade cloth side, mostly jades and random succulents get the brightest area. CC/TC/Rhipsallis are further inward, they get some morning sun though on the other side. -Nancy
