Hitchhiking Ajuga from swap - light purple, anyone know the name?

I've always had a dark purple blooming Ajuga and now have a light purple one coming up in the bed that I repopulated with swap plants. It is also very pretty. I would like to know the names of both if anyone knows.

The light purple with the lighter green leaves is in the middle of the photo and in front of it is my original dark purple Ajuga.

Originally I had planned to only have the one dark purple color but I can see how it would be pretty if the light purple were interspersed with the dark purple.

I read through some old posts and it looks like Skybird has brought the following ones to previous swaps. Probably one of these:

Ajuga ‘Arboretum Giant’ – The one with the “biggest” leaves and “tallest” flowers!

Ajuga ‘Black Scallop’ – I only have a small patch of this one and it doesn’t spread as much as the others, so this is one I don’t give away very often! Really DARK, shiny leaves (when it’s watered!), and it’s my favorite Ajuga!

Ajuga ‘Chocolate Chip’ – The one with the “smallest” leaves and the “shortest” flowers!

Ajuga ‘Royalty’ – My regular pretty “bronzy” one!

Maybe if you look at pics online of all of them you can figure out which one it is.

Hey Ya'll, I don't think I'm going to get to come to the plant swap in the morning :( I think I must have some kind of stomach virus and don't want to share that while we share our plants! You all might not like me if you took home my bug with your flowers! I have stuff in pots that I did earlier and kept hoping that I'd feel better today to get other stuff gathered up--but I wasn't able to get out to the yard. I can let you all know if you want to get together again later. Maybe we could have a garden party at my house and I could share my goodies then. Momof2, thanks for saving peonies for me. If you would continue to hold them, I'd love to pick them up from you later. If there are flowers left to share at the swap, I'd love for you to gather a few in a box for me to pick up when I get the peonies. I was so looking forward to meeting fellow gardeners and making some new friends. Oh well, another time! Ya'll take care and I hope to meet you soon. You sound like a fun bunch. Terry

On the purple and yellow irises I sent in, I wrote things like the height, and when it blooms. I also put A.L., my initials, so you'll know who it came from. I got mine mailed out today, I really should have been looking for the flat-rate boxes long before this! I ended up using a bigger box, then trying to switch, and the flat-rate box is much smaller, so I put them back in the bigger box, but I couldn't stuff them all in, so there are 2 fewer in there than I thought I was sending. The box looked a little funny, with iris roots poking out the seams :) They charged me ninety cents for DC! I need to be better prepared, and use all the tricks you regular plant-swappers use. I just received the most WONDERFUL box from Miss Sue! It was so big, it took 2 kids to carry it. :) And MERCY, I just about fell out of my chair when I saw how much it cost to mail! Prices are getting ridiculous!! I tried to keep track of everything as I unwrapped them, but I had 4 little helpers (the girls helped me...the boys couldn't have cared less- they know they're going to be recruited to help plant later on! LoL!) so I didn't get everything written down. But everything looks great, nothing is wilted! Which was SO surprising, considering the heat! I know there were 2 mini roses, red & blue salvia, many daylilies, 6 succulents, dianthus, lantana, rosemary & lavender. The rosemary & lavender made the box smell SOOOO good! If I've forgotten to mention anything, please forgive me! Thank you SO MUCH, Miss Sue! You outdid yourself with a WONDERFUL box, and I absolutely LOVE everything!

Wow -- is there still time for me to join in? I'm kind of a newbie but from your lists I see lots that I can send to fill wishes- so here goes. Any heuchera Coleus (black dragon or others) Columbine - single colored varieties- bright colors or an all white variety is better! Lobelias -- or other trailers for pots Black, rust or peach colored flowers for my peach garden Echinachea- other than white swan or the plain purple variety(Peach would be great) Daisies - have clara curtis, giant white, and white shasta-- my three little girls just love to cut and cut all season long and far be it from me to discourage future gardeners! Coreopsis of any variety I don't have (coreopsis I have include: pink, zagreb, seashell, mahogohny midget, moonbeam) Lavendar - Spanish Pink Forget me nots Black Eyed Susan Vine - all colors Gladiola Seeds Monarda Flowering Groundcovers -- nothing invasive like vinca or ajuga I would prefer not to get-- Daturas, Moonflowers, Four O'clocks -except for the variegated kind -would love those, Cactus, Succulents or shade lovers --other than what was listed above-- I have very little shade. Also not interested in herbs and have all my veggie seeds for next year allready.

I looked them all up and they appear to all be darker leafed. Mine is also darker leafed with darker flowers.

This one likely came with a Shasta Daisy as it is in the area where I planted those.

Took some more pictures today. Light in back (hitchhiker), darker (original to my house) in front.

My repopulated (after being eaten by a vole) bed is doing well. Lots of Shasta Daisy contributions from the group and some beautiful garden phlox from Tomatoz. Also a new darker purple aster. And some hitchhiking Larkspur as well as some new Larkspur seeds from Stace.

As far as I can tell there is no lighter colored Ajuga. So maybe these are some type of sport, anemic version or ??? Maybe baby plants that haven't matured? Even to me that sounds wrong.
