What you've done thus far looks lovely, the dining room is yummy. Most of the living room is done well but I have a little issue with the balance of the room. In the photo ,looking straight on to the sofa, I see that it's not centered on the wall and the chevron pattern chair seems crowded. Is it possible to center the couch and move your heirloom between the two windows to another spot. Take the chevron chair and put it at an angle up near the window more to the right of the window. Then take your heirloom piece and place it to the left of the sofa. Just a suggestion.

I like the suggestion of modern metal drum tables but have practical concerns. Where do you put a lamp? These tables are small. Maybe one metal drum and something else that could hold a lamp? Or should I look at floor lamps?

Center TV on its wall (and mount if you are not in a rental). TV stand below to span most of that wall. Center sofa across from it. Pull loveseat and other seating around it. Is the sliding door/window supposed to have something in front of it (is that dining space)? If not, you could create a reading nook or something like that. Art over sofas (maybe mirror if it reflects nice outdoor view). West Elm makes a overarching lamp that attaches to wall (sconce) that is plug-in. Might work to bring light into muddle if room without corner floor lamp.
