What you've done thus far looks lovely, the dining room is yummy. Most of the living room is done well but I have a little issue with the balance of the room. In the photo ,looking straight on to the sofa, I see that it's not centered on the wall and the chevron pattern chair seems crowded. Is it possible to center the couch and move your heirloom between the two windows to another spot. Take the chevron chair and put it at an angle up near the window more to the right of the window. Then take your heirloom piece and place it to the left of the sofa. Just a suggestion.

I'd go metal and glass coffee and end table. Pretty space :-)

I would also recommend glass and metal tables since there is already so much wood in the room. These should not be matched pieces; at least the coffee table should be different in style. Your lamps look a little short and small. On glass tables I'd recommend white ceramic bases to go with the couch and create more impact than what you have. You do need a very large piece of art over the couch. Try to have some lively colors, red, yellow, blue, to wake up this otherwise very neutral room. Something rather abstract and flowing would be better than realistic art.

Eh, I think it looks good like it is. I'd save my money and spend it on some fab. art. Or a weekend getaway!
