Comments (23)Susan, we are looking at a 1900-ish farm house that is for sale to be moved. Someone bought it from a house mover about 3 years ago, only to find out that due to deed restrictions where he lives, he can't move it. So, it is still sitting on the mover's lot. The mover wants it off...it is taking up a lot of space and the longer it sits, the more it is deteriorating...having gone through a hurricane this year and is partially standing open. We have cash and have made an offer on it. He wants more, but I don't think anyone will pay his price. One guy wants it, but doesn't have the money and wanted to get a bank to finance it. I don't believe any bank will touch it. The moving has already been paid on it, and it is just 12 miles from where we live. So, if we get the house...I will use them in there. I have collected old doors and cupboards, windows, and all kinds of things for years. If we don't get the old house, we will build a new house and make it as much like an old one as possible, and use them in there....See MoreWhat movie star are you? (Test)
Comments (53)Hey Igloo! Long time no see. Hope all is well. I am firmly a Katherine Hepburn. I have always admired her independent spirit. I wonder what all of us being willing to take this quiz says about us AND why so many seem to be Katherines. I love these kind of quizzes. I need to find the others I have & post them for fun. One is about what your dessert choice reveals about you. The other is your personality based on how you wear down your lipstick....See MoreThx to Minnie, Tx: Pagan Love Song

Comments (13)I loved Fairy Tales growing up, but was raised by a single mom who had to do domestic type work (babysitting and ironing) to earn money until I didn't need a babysitter. So I never seriously considered the Prince Charming part of the stories more than fantasy...I knew women had to make their own way. That was more real to me than the fantasy that someone was going to save us or take care of us. I weep for the women here and around the world, fighting for equality and freedom from violence against them and join them in standing against those who will take our freedoms, our lives, our bodies, our choices, our education and our dreams. Every day should be Women's Day!...See Morearcy_gw
