Shower glass treatment - ClearShield
Comments (14)Yep, trekker, not so thrilled with the diamonfusion but we do have really hard water. Finally got a squeegie and that is not so great either. Granted it was only $8 from BB&B but geez, how hard is it to make a piece of rubber? When you do the squeegie, there is a big hole right in the middle! So, I have been wiping everything down and it does take 5 minutes that I don't want to spend-seems silly I know, but really, who the heck does this and I know the novelty will wear off soon. Plus, I am wiping after the kids too and DH does a bit but I have to go behind him so figure 4 people X 5 minutes each day and it adds up. With Invisible shield, do you still have to wipe down the door or squeegie? Does the water sheet off? I might just try it on top of the diamonfusion and it is cheap. Still, I LOVE my door and love how my bathroom looks. Plus the sink is really much better with the diamonfusion, that does sheet off and not a spot. Funny to look back and think I was so worried about liking my vessel sink that I had the granite installer do a special install so I could pull out the granite and recut for an undermount sink "just in case". Turns out the sink and granite is what I love the most! I never get my clothes wet washing my face, can lean on the bowl with both elbows and it doesn't splash one bit-gotta love it for that alone. ladydfp, Everything I read about showerguard seems to be a superior treatment because it is done when they make the glass so it is inside. I tried to get it but no dealers in my town. I was lucky to even get the low iron or starphire glass since all but one glass company told me no....See MoreHospital rant
Comments (32)We have been very lucky, with all of the medical issues we have had with our son. He has been in 5 hospitals, since he was hurt in an industrial accident. That left him a para, and has now had two strokes. We don't live in what would be concidered the hub of medical technology, but I can say in all honesty his care could not have been better. He has had talented, caring, responsive nuring staff, as well as doctors. When they know their limits don't meet his needs, he has been sent out of state to larger facilities. I try to work WITH the staff, because he is unable to communicate very well. I am not a medical professional, but over this past 11 years, I certainly have learned and seen a lot. I advocate for Brian, and yes, there have been times I have disagreed with some of the directives, but we discuss them, so we understand each others views. Afterall I have been through it all with him, and he is my only concern, as they have many patients to be concerned about. Being an antagonist helps no one. I keep a notebook with me at all times, so I have some knowledge to speak to staff, if I have a concern. These dedicated professionals, have kept my son alive when several times, there was little hope. Our society has become so angry and rude, it is very sad to see the verbal abuse so many seem to think is OK. I have had staff I cared for more than others, but never felt any of them have not done the best they can for us. His and my ( 2 surgeries this year too) rooms have always been clean, the food is good, not 5 star but good and usually there are choices so you should be able to find something satisfactory. I thank you ladies, and any men if it applies, for your dedication to your patients. Its a big job, that I for one appreciate. I wish more of you could feel the same. Makes me want to never relocate....See MoreFace Mask Pattern: Easy, fit's perfect, NO fogging your glasses.....
Comments (49)oklamoni, I am thinking that maybe since your name includes Oklahoma in it that maybe you are of that state and, possibly, even belong to one of the nations. Having acknowledged that fact could very well be true, I have to ask you just what fabric print is suited for native Americans? I was not aware that peopled who are descended from the tribes are any different in their preferences of such than are any other populations. I would be curious as to what you perceive that preference to be. Of course, some people do gravitate towards a print that speaks for them or about them. I am betting that those who belong to a tribe have much the same preferences as anyone else. Sports logos have always been popular and likely do appeal to more males than females in much the same manner as you see more males wearing sports figures t-shirts. You masks look to be well made and I do acknowledge your efforts....See MoreFace Masks........
Comments (149)Thaks, Judi, yes sarcasm. If masks weren’t effective, medical folks wouldn’t wear them. I never see cloth masks anymore. All appear to be k95.. I just saw in our local paper that covid cases doubled here the last week in July. Which is a bit odd beccause the weather was idyllic and nearly every event and gathering has been outside. The local health department is again recommending masks....See Morebayarea_girl_z10a_ca
