Had a similar look in the master bedroom of our previous home, which was converted from attic space in the mid-1940s, with wood flooring and wide wood planks on the walls, much like yours. It also had those wonderful built-ins/bump-outs. I miss that space. I'd go with earthy tones cooled with natural greens and warmed by muted reds and burgundies. Comments (4)Can you post some pics of the areas around this space? I like chandeliers that light the table and in LED 4000k so any colors you choose for walls etc stay true . As for art I would never choose art for a client so not here either find a pices you love IMO quite large . I need to know thew size of the room but usually IMO a buffet is a nice addition much more so that the county style corner piece with very formal chairs you have. I love drapes in DRs and a soft plae blue faux silk would be awesome with walls thesame color as the drapes to make the space feel larger....See MoreDecorating help for boy’s room
Comments (10)Something about the skateboards bother me. I would stagger them on the wall above the bed. I like the yellow throw, but not so much the duvet. I agree that it needs more stuffing. Put the gray pillows behind the shams, and add one throw pillow to pull in the other colors of the room. I agree that a couple of posters on the surfboard wall would be nice....See Morebbstx
