Please help me decide on cabinet hardware color!!

Please help me choose between champagne gold and brushed nickel for my cabinets. The darker cabinet is our island. The lighter color makes up all perimeter cabinets. I have not yet chosen the faucet, lights or backsplash and would love for you to include what color lights and faucet I could use with the cabinet hardware you prefer.

Also, I have both a stainless steel hood and an unpainted wood hood in my garage. I was leaning toward stainless, but would that look good with the champagne gold if I choose it?

Thanks Nelly. I am too. But I'm wondering what others thinks too. And whether or not it will look okay if I go with champagne and then stainless faucets and appliances.

Even though I tend to be a "mitchy-matchy" person, my CKD said to remember that all metals should be considered neutral. I have SS appliances, sink, faucet. ORB hardware seemed to look better with the tortoise ceramic floor, bronze glaze on the cabinets, and darker wood trim on the cabinets in our rustic kitchen. We were also able to get samples to look at. I think it was good advice to look at overall tones/colors and not just the other metals. I also liked all pulls. Excuse any picture problems. I am just figuring that part out.

I know this won't help much, but I think that either one looks very nice. I am doing a kitchen remodel with cherry toned cabinets and we ended up doing brushed nickel, but my sister also just did hers with the oil rubbed bronze it looks fabulous, too. I'm not sure you can wrong either way. Both compliment cherry cabinets superbly.

Bottom left and I often have bathroom cabinets painted at an auto paint shop with automotive paint , there are some awesome colors to choose from. The bonus is a paint job that is amzingly tough like your car finish.

It would be on trend to add white for sure. I find it looks like someone could not make up their mind and it's in progress. I heard you on the clear glass but since the suggestion is all of them...perhaps you need to rethink clear as I doubt you want inside every cupboard viewed. A mix can work. The opaque glass saves you fussing with the inside of the cabinetry.

I will be the third. I think I prefer the champagne, though in all honesty they both look great.

I will also offer that stainless faucet and appliances will be fine with the champagne. Have to ask, is that the counter top that is on the white cabinet? I too am getting Plato - just got my samples last night.

Champagne out of those two. Have you tried chrome or black against it?

salonva the lighter cabinet is Plato Oatmeal. The darker one is Plato Coastal Gray. Both are maple. The quartz is Pental Akoya.

I also prefer the champagne gold. It goes really well with the wood finish in the first photo.

Actually I am so glad you mentioned color. I ordered white dove and mocha cherry. I got the samples last night. I honestly thought the white looked whiter but then I thought it was the night time lighting and didn't really think about it. When I saw you said yours was oatmeal I looked at it and saw the white dove also which is definitely creamier. Turns out the sample I got is actually essential white (WAY more white like a bright light. I thought maybe I had lost my mind but I knew I had really liked it when I was selecting!!!). Phew. So I really did order white dove, which is a bit whiter than oatmeal but definitely not a bright white. Sorry to derail this. But thank you!!!

Another vote for Champagne. Have you tried black? I read that you don't like shiny finishes. I love the champagne with the white, I like it with the stained wood. I prefer it over the nickel with both cabs.

Akoya has a fair amount of warmth. Champagne would be beautiful. I have akoya countertops and LOVE them
