Money Tree Leaves turning yellow and falling off!
Comments (3)If the amount of light and water its getting is different from what it got in your office, then that's the problem. When I say the 'amount of water' I'm not necessarily referring to cups, but possibly natural humidity, and frequency of watering - if it's getting less light, it'll need less frequent watering, especially as it's later in the growing season too - yellow leaves usually mean too much water (and if your potting soil is 'normal' then it's mostly peat, rather than fast draining grit, and so is holding onto water for ages below the surface, so repotting might be considered). It may acclimatize to less light, but not if you haven't adjusted its watering issues to match. And consider humidity as well, a tray of water, with stones in it under the pot keeping it from touching the water (and rotting roots) will be more effective than a spray or two daily....See MoreMo Money Tree, Mo problems: soft yellow leaves and dried up trunk
Comments (1)5 meters from a window? And watered once a week? If it hasn't been dead for a while now, it surely needs more light. Your friend should try 1 meter from the window. Also, which leaves are yellow? The very bottom leaves, or leaves throughout? Josh...See MoreMoney tree leaves turning yellow
Comments (49)Hello Boys! How I promised I'm here to keep you updated. Everything was okay with the tree until 2-3 weeks ago when it started to turn yellow again. I went for a holiday and I did asked my room mate to take care of the tree. She said she did everything how I asked (watering with a half strength fertilizer once in a week, around 1 litre per watering). I don't think it's overwatering...We lost lots of leaves again and I really don't know what else can I do, what is went wrong again. Will post some pics as well. Please Josh if you have any idea what is what we are doing wrong let me know asap because I'm really worried about the tree! Thanks in advance for your time! Comments (3)I don't know if that would cause the problem. But you should tell them no more herbicides or chemicals since you no longer have a lawn but an orchard with grass. The half life of that chemical in soil is 1.5 years and plants take it up through their roots... The trees could be having trouble for other reasons. The mulberry does not have iron deficiency, that first appears on new growth. That is probably magnesium deficiency. Are the roots healthy? The leaves look a little wilted to me, maybe it is overwatered? The fig looks stressed but not sure why. How have you been watering it and how long ago was it planted? Which region do you live in and what has the weather been like? Some more pics might help....See Morejjsage
