Yes! I worked on it some yesterday and will take measurements when I get home and can update pictures. The built in wall is 13' long. Drawer units are standard depth, 24", and the narrower cabinets are 12" upper cabinets, however we bumped them out a little, so closer to 16" deep. To the left of the pax wardrobe wall (if facing) is the kitchen. To the right is the front of our house. The third pictures in original post has labels for all exits.

How far out from tv wall will bookcases etc stick out? That is limiting factor. A 9 x 12’ could sit under swivel chair and run to opposite wall leaving about 12” of flooring and go from front edge of bookcase TV Area toward and under sofa. That would keep you in standard size rug. We would have to be careful of any pattern so it would look right. What wall color are you planning? What trim color? Ceiling color? Main furniture colors. In other words what is your color palette.

I like the general layout you have, with maybe Beverly's change to some chairs for lightness. Large end-table and lamp in the corner -- that leaves room next to the door for a smaller entry table with a drawer, if you need a place to drop mail or hide mittens. Large piece of art over the two chairs or loveseat. I'd try to use all art in this space, and keep the family photos in the more residential/private zones. You don't necessarily need decor around the TV, although some prefer it.

Take a look at the IKEA sleep sofa sectional. Rated as one of the best by Good Housekeeping, it may be the perfect solution for your daughter's apartment. There is a video. Purchase (comfortable) chairs with out arms, or low slope arms so chairs can tuck under table. Also, the dining chairs can be pulled into the sectional area for extra seating, if needed. For the sectional, I would position on the opposite solid wall. Let the sectional have the rug. No need for any other rugs in the dining/living area. My thought is it would make the space look smaller. But, as in the above inspiration photo, a coordinating runner with living room rug, would warm up the kitchen space. Suggest black out curtains for the two front windows. Don't want you to be awakened a dawn when you visit. What an exciting time for your daughter. Congrats to her on her graduation. I hear Seattle is a lot of fun.
