Thank you, Vee! I would almost like the idea of returning to 2002 for a redo, but then I'd be going to work tomorrow, so I'm content to remain in my retirement years and move on to the peaceful 2020 full of good books that you wish for all of us. Merry Christmas!

Vee, I am very bad with numbers and have to be careful when filling out things like Bank Transfer details.I transpose numbers and am always worried I shall send the cash to the wrong account.

I watched some of the Royal Command Performance tonight. A good way to catch up on new shows that I shall probably not see here. I notice that the young royals get filmed reacting to the jokes etc. more than I remember from years ago.

I think there was a rule that the Queen only got a couple of shots taken during the performance and at the presentations after the show. That way she could enjoy the acts in privacy.

Bon, we still laugh about the church bulletin listing the “scared” dancers (sacred) in worship one Sunday!

LOL..... one of our church lectors, while announcing in the pulpit , asked for prayers for all firefighters .....except he said fire-farters .

Ouch - that's gotta hurt.

He was quite flummoxed about having made the slip and then stumbled trying to saying correctly ! When I got home I created a card to send him with a dragon on the front but the fire was from it's posterior . Funny. That was years ago and he still brings it to mind and has kept the card .

Bon, that reminds me of one time when we were on a cruise. At the disembarkation talk the cruise director said "If you need wheelchair assistance contact guest relations and we'll make arrangements to push you off the ship in the morning." People in the audience started to snicker and you could see her rewinding what she'd just said, and the horrified look on her face was priceless! She said, "Oh, my gosh, I can't believe I said that!" LOL
