Hanging wall decor on wallpaper
Comments (7)I had a lot of pictures in my old DR w/wallpaper. The only thing that required thick screws was a mirror. We knew it would stay there until we re-did the room. The rest of the pictures were hung using either straight pins or the thinnest nails possible. Hardly visible when we took it all down. I'm amazed at all the things I can hang with a straight pin! I keep them in my toolbox. lol...See MoreWall paper newbie needs basic decorating advice, please!
Comments (15)Hi Srg215, Wow...well, I'm not totally sure yet but I seem to recall the designer saying "2-3,000" for this carpet (bound as a rug), approximate size 10x14. If that's bound as a rug and delivered, I guess $2000 isn't that much more than $12 0/sq ft, but I'll find out the exact price this week and let you know. I had no idea I could find the same exact product for potentially so much less. Can you give me the info re: your Bergen store and what they call it? Stark calls the pattern "Westfield" and this green color "Spring", or is that only what Stark calls it? Thanks so much. Madeline...See Morekitchen island decorated w/textured wallpaper
Comments (5)I haven't decided what to do with my kitchen island yet...but someone suggested pressed tin to me (Like the kind they used on ceilings). Apparently this now comes in tiles and sheets, and in a variety of colors. I saw some of these tiles at Home Depot and I was surprised that there were traditional and more 'modern' looking patterns available. I'm not sure how it would work out in practice, but I would imagine that it would be easier to clean and maintain and wallpaper, while still giving you an interesting texture to feel :)...See MoreI just stripped the wallpaper, what wall color? I can not afford an interior decorator at this present time. Moreover, I love the time I spend with my son making our house a great home for him. We are fixing one room at a time. This was my first project, my sons bedroom; just ordered his rug.... he loves sitting on the floor the rug was temporary....See MoreYayagal
