I'll be the first one to say I do not care for gravy. I do make it just don't want to have to eat it. A friend was trying to get head start on buffet and her family wanted cold turkey to make sandwiches with not hot. She roasted turkey this morning took bird out of roasting pan and slid pan back into oven. Well an hour and bunch of smoke later she remembered pan. Burnt offering unto the lord was how she described wings and drippings that had been in the pan. her question to me was what do you think of using low salt Turkey stock from box, a jar of Turkey gravy and drippings from chicken parts she had in freezer. My statement was why not it will be better than straight jarred gravy. She did it tasted it and had couple of family members try it. Response was its pretty good. She is now having second thoughts about using it. I don't see why not. What would you do ?
