This living room has a lot of warm elements in it (warm wood floors, the rug, the tan couch etc) and just a little cool (blue on the coffee table):

In .addition, we are adding wood bookcases to the blank wall in the living room:

I will add art above the couch - I have a big print that is predominantly brown and another that is bright brown, orange, blue, purple, etc. from which to select.

The living room is connected to additional spaces with warm elements also:

Other than the obvious lighting issues, we're trying to decide what to change. What would look good here for a wall color?

We can leave the walls as-is (cream), and also are considering a warm white, tan, blue, and maybe green. We are not sure if we need to stick with warm colors for paint or if a cooler color like blue/green would add interest. Recommendations?

FWIW, paint swatches in the picture are: SW Natural Tan, BM Wythe Blue, SW Alabaster, SW Rainwashed. Existing color is an unknown cream.
